Ingredients

  • 1 tsp butter
  • 2 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • ½ capsicum, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp pav bhaji masala
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp water
  • ½ tsp butter
  • ¼ tsp pav bhaji masala
  • 1 tsp coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 pav
  • ½ tsp green chutney
  • 3 slice potato / aloo, boiled
  • 2 slice tomato
  • 3 slice cucumber
  • pinch chaat masala

Instructions

Heat butter in a pan, add garlic and sauté until aromatic.

Add onion and sauté until it softens and turns lightly golden.

Add capsicum and continue to sauté until slightly tender.

Stir in the chopped tomato and cook until soft and mushy.

Sprinkle pav bhaji masala and salt; sauté for one minute.

Pour in water and mix well, letting everything combine into a thick masala. Set this aside.

In another pan, melt butter with a dash of pav bhaji masala and chopped coriander.

Slice the pav horizontally, keeping it intact at one end, and roast both sides until lightly crisp.

Spread green chutney on one side of the opened pav.

Layer a spoonful of the cooked masala over the chutney.
