Aloo Roti Recipe: Soft Potato Roti for Everyday Meals

Aloo roti, also known as potato roti, is a delightful twist on traditional Indian flatbreads, infusing the subtle, comforting flavors of mashed potatoes right into the dough. This wholesome and filling roti is perfect for lunchboxes, travel meals, or quick dinners, offering a unique alternative to your regular chapati. Unlike the classic aloo paratha, where potato is stuffed into wheat dough, this recipe blends the boiled, grated potato with spices and wheat flour before rolling out the rotis, yielding a soft, flavorful bread that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with yogurt, pickles, or a simple sabzi. The preparation is straightforward, making it ideal for busy weekdays or a nourishing weekend brunch.
