    Ingredients

    • 1 large sweet potato, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 1 tablespoon brown sugar, or more if desired
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt

    Instructions

    1

Heat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    2

In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato slices with oil, brown sugar, and salt until evenly coated.

    3

Lay the slices in a single flat layer on the prepared baking sheet to ensure even roasting.

    4

Place in the upper third of the oven and roast for 20–25 minutes or until the tops are just golden.

    5

Flip each slice and continue roasting for another 10–15 minutes until beautifully browned.

    6

Right out of the oven, loosen the slices from the baking sheet to prevent sticking.

    7

Enjoy warm or let them cool—the flavors intensify as they chill.

    Notes

    Tips:
For extra crisp edges, make sure your sweet potato slices don't overlap on the baking sheet. Adjust the brown sugar to your sweetness preference, or add a dash of cinnamon for cozy warmth. These keep well in the fridge for several days—perfect for grab-and-go snacking or quick sides.
